The proposed Masterplan Concept is to create ‘an Alpine River Gorge Town that maximizes the development, visual and spatial opportunities of the undulating terrains and vistas available’.

The upgraded Lao Cai Red River Riverfront Road should similarly have the ambiance of an undulating mountain road, with similar scale and panoramic vistas across the river gorge as well as roadside alpine landscape and greens. The Landscape Promenade along the Red River Bank should have a series of landscape spaces that emulate the alpine town landscape plazas, squares and gardens.
