Based on the 1:2000 Masterplan for Son Tay District, [a district on the outskirts of Hanoi City and adjacent to the Red River], this location will house most of the proposed Green Park areas for the district. There are also numerous streams and irrigation canals within this location. Owing to this unique planning parameter and physical conditions, the masterplan concept design uses the concept of ‘Little Venice in a Park’ concept; creating a township surrounded by waterways within a large park.
